Netflix’s popular Korean zombie series “All of Us Are Dead” has been renewed for a second season.
The four main actors of the series – Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun and Lomon – participated in Netflix’s Geeked Week event and thanked fans for their support of the show.
The series follows several ordinary high schoolers who end up at ground zero of a zombie apocalypse after a science experiment gone awry. Cut off from the outside world, the group is forced to protect themselves while dealing with interpersonal tension.
The series is one of the streamer’s top ten non-English-language shows of all time, and its second-most successful Korean export after “Squid Game”.
Speaking of Netflix Asian horror, Japan’s “Alice in Borderland” has set a December premiere for the second season which is currently in post-production. The ten cast members who won games at the end of the first season will be back for the second.
