New “Prey” Trailer Officially Out Soon

New Prey Trailer Officially Out Soon
Hulu

Just like with “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” last month, a poor quality copy of the new trailer for Dan Trachtenberg’s “Predator” reimagining “Prey” went online this past weekend.

As with ‘Mission’, the leaked video was of such poor low-resolution and artifact-filled video quality that it takes away from the film it’s promoting when everything looks like a brown blocky smudge.

Trachtenberg knows it to and has taken to social media to respond to the trailer leak for his film. Rather than be upset over it, the director discouraged fans from seeking it out and asked them to be patient as the official release is coming very soon. He didn’t, however, specify a date.

“Prey” is set 300 years ago in North America, and follows the Comanche warrior Naru (Amber Midthunder) who must stalk and kill the alien hunter who threatens her people. Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush, Julian Black Antelope, and Dane DiLiegro co-star.

“Prey” will be released by 20th Century Studios as a Hulu original film on August 5th.
