Netflix’s acclaimed animated anthology series “Love, Death + Robots” returns soon for a third season with the new run’s full trailer going up today.
The third volume will feature nine episodes, one of which will mark the show’s producer and filmmaking legend David Fincher’s first foray into helming animation.
Titled “Bad Travelling,” the Fincher-directed episode sees a jable shark-hunting sailing vessel attacked by a giant crustacean whose size and intelligence is matched only by its appetite. Mutiny, betrayal and ventriloquism with a corpse soo happens.
Andrew Kevin Walker penned the script based on the short story by Neal Asher. Tim Miller, Jennifer Yuh Nelson, Patrick Osborne and more will helm other episodes ranging from zombie satire to evolved Scottish rats.
“Love, Death + Robots Volume 3” drops on the service on May 20th.
