Following its screening at CinemaCon and then with “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” over the weekend, Disney has now released the teaser trailer and first poster for James Cameron’s “Avatar: The Way of Water” online.
The first of four sequels to the 2009 sci-fi box-office juggernaut, this sees Jake Sully and Ney’tiri having formed a family and are doing everything to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora when a threat resurfaces.
There’s plenty of the new film taking place around Pandora’s oceans whilst the cast includes returnees like Sigourney Weaver as Dr. Grace Augustine and Stephen Lang as Colonel Miles Quaritch along with new to the franchise members like Vin Diesel and Kate Winslet.
“Avatar: The Way of Water” premieres in cinemas on December 16th.
