Just over a week out from release, Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” with this one boasting a namedrop of Marvel’s infamous secret team The Illuminati.
Though still images have previously confirmed their presence, and trailers have strongly suggested it, this marks the first time any marketing material mentions the group by name.
It has also been revealed what got the film banned in Saudi Arabia with Disney reportedly being unwilling to remove around 12 seconds from the film in which one character refers to her ‘two moms’ according to ComicBook.com.
Sam Raimi directs this journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” comes to theaters on May 6th.
