Poker Face
“The Umbrella Academy” and “Blindspot” alum David Castaneda has joined Natasha Lyonne and Rian Johnson’s ten-episode “Poker Face” series for Peacock.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Stephanie Hsu also star in the procedural series in which Lyonne plays a character working to solve different murders in each episode. [Source: Variety]

Chief of War
Justin Chon (“Pachinko,” “Blue Bayou”) has signed on to executive produce and direct the first two episodes of the Jason Momoa-led series “Chief of War” for the Apple TV+ service.

The story is said to follow the epic telling of the unification and colonization of Hawaii from an indigenous point of view. Momoa will write alongside Thomas Pa’a Sibbett. [Source: Variety]

The Kids in the Hall
Nearly three decades after wrapping, the beloved Canadian sketch comedy series “The Kids in the Hall” is back with a revival set to premiere all eight episodes on Amazon Prime on May 13th.

News of the launch date came with a teaser trailer which can be seen below and sees Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson reuniting.

Grace and Frankie
Netflix has premiered the final full trailer for the final episodes of its long-running Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin-led comedy series “Grace and Frankie”.

This last run of twelve episodes will close out the seventh season and, once aired, will have become the longest-running Netflix Original series to date with a total of 94 episodes. The full run is released on April 29th.

Tehran
Apple TV+ has premiered the full trailer for the second season of their Israeli espionage thriller series “Tehran”. Niv Sultan plays a Mossad agent charged with disabling a nuclear facility in Iran.

After that mission was compromised, she’s now in hiding and performing different work for the Mossad. Glenn Close joins the cast of the new season which premieres May 6th.

Candy
Hulu has premiered one more trailer for “Candy,” its ‘five-night event’ series which kicks off May 9th and stars Jessica Biel as Candy Montgomery, a Texas woman in 1980 with a seemingly perfect home life in Dallas. One day however she killed her friend from church Betty Gore (Melanie Lynskey) with an axe. Timothy Simons, Pablo Schreiber, and Raul Esparza co-star.
