Netflix has premiered the official trailer for its coming-of-age comedy feature “Metal Lords” which is produced by “Game of Thrones” creators D.B. Weiss and David Benioff.
The story follows a two-member high school heavy metal band as they try to search for a bassist in order to qualify for an upcoming Battle of the Bands – finding them in the form of a hot-heated female cello player.
Jaeden Martell, Isis Hainsworth, Adrian Greensmith and Joe Manganiello star while Peter Sollett directs from a script by Weiss. The film will be available from April 8th.
Weiss made the news recently telling EW that after spending eleven years in total working on HBO’s “Game of Thrones” from its earliest inception to its closure, he has no intention of returning to that franchise.
