To mark their final issue in print, EW has released the first photos from the highly anticipated “Obi-Wan Kenobi” TV series set to debut on the Disney+ service in May.
The new series is set a decade after the events of “Revenge of the Sith” in a time when it’s not safe as there are Jedi hunters out there. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprise their roles from the prequel trilogy.
Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, Benny Safdie and Maya Erskine co-star.
The first look photos include first glimpses of Moses Ingram as Inquisitor Reva, and Joel Edgerton reprising the role of Uncle Owen. They’re up at ew.com/tv/obi-wan-kenobi-first-look-photos/ while the cover art can be seen below.
“Obi-Wan Kenobi” premieres on May 25th on the Disney+ service.
