Almost a decade after it ended, “Futurama” has been revived for a twenty-episode run on Hulu.
The Matt Groening and David X. Cohen-created series aired five seasons on Fox before being revived for three more at Comedy Central.
It will now return to production this month for a 2023 premiere with those being added to the 140 episodes total of the series produced thus far.
Original stars Billy West (Fry) and Katey Sagal (Leela) along with ensemble players Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr and David Herman are all set to return. John DiMaggio, who provided the voice of Bender, is finalizing his deal to return as well.
Rough Draft Studios will return to handle the animation.
