“In the Heights” star Anthony Ramos has been cast in Marvel Studios’ “Ironheart” series for the Disney+ service.
Dominique Thorne stars as Riri Williams, a genius inventor who builds her own advanced suit of armor and follows in Iron Man’s footsteps.
Thorne will first appear in character in the currently filming “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. Ramos’ role in the six-episode series is being kept under wraps but the role is expected to be explored further in future Marvel projects.
Chinaka Hodge serves as the head writer of the “Ironheart” series which is scheduled to begin filming this April in Chicago.
