Eddie Izzard has been cast as Dr. Nina Jekyll in the film “Doctor Jekyll” for B Good Picture Company.
The modern interpretation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1886 novella “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde” follows the reclusive Nina Jekyll finding friendship with her newly hired help, Rob (Scott Chambers).
The pair must work together to prevent Hyde from destroying her life. Joe Stephenson (“Chicken”) will helm the film which hails from first-time writer Dan Kelly-Mulhern. Stephenson and Guy de Beaujeu will produce with filming to begin this week in the UK.
