Third “Boondock Saints” Film Is A Go

Filmmaker Troy Duffy will reunite with Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery for “Boondock Saints III,” the next instalment in the indie franchise about fraternal twin Irish vigilante brothers Connor and Murphy MacManus.

Duffy, Don Carmody, Shaun Redick and Yvette Yates Redick are producing and Duffy co-wrote the script with Flanery and a lot of input from Reedus.

Little is known about the story other than it picking up from the end of “Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day” which left the brothers behind bars for their crimes.

Now they’re released and older, entering a new world that is not like the one they left along with being at odds about where to go – one wants to continue, the other does not.

Filming will begin in May when Flanery’s commitments to Amazon’s “The Boys” and Reedus’ to AMC’s “The Walking Dead” are completed.
