The first two photos have been released for Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” sequel with the shows showcasing Spider-Man in his classic red suit.
The tagline indicating a ‘multiverse’ of possibilities suggests the inclusion of other characters outside of the Spider-verse. That hasn’t been confirmed, indeed the story details and characters in the new film are very much under wraps.
The only confirmed returnees so far are Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacey, and new to the series Issa Rae as Jessica Drew.
The film is currently on track to be released on October 7th 2022.
