A new trailer has arrived for the film that’s quietly snuck up to become a front-runner for the Best Picture Oscar race following near-universal acclaim from film festivals – Kenneth Branagh’s “Belfast”
The deeply personal black and white drama tells the story of love, laughter and loss in one boy’s childhood within a working class family in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He becomes caught up in the music and social tumult of the late 1960s and the early days of The Troubles.
Caitriona Balfe, Judi Dench, Jamie Dornan, Ciaran Hinds, Colin Morgan and Jude Hill star while famed singer Van Morrison allowed eight of his songs to be used and wrote a new one for the feature. “Belfast” arrives in theaters on November 12th.
