Cocaine Bear
Co-producer Chris Miller has confirmed that the Elizabeth Banks-directed character-driven thriller “Cocaine Bear” has wrapped filming. The project is based on a real-life event where an American black bear was found dead after consuming a massive overdose dropped by a drug smuggler. Miller and Phil Lord produce the film which began shooting in August in Ireland. [Source: Collider]

Wonder Woman
As part of Saturday’s DC FanDome event, director Patty Jenkins confirmed that work on the upcoming third “Wonder Woman” film had officially begun. In addition, actress Lynda Carter also confirmed she would be in the film. Both Jenkins and Gal Gadot will return to the series with Jenkins once again writing and directing but no dates have yet been set. [Source: DC]

The Last of Us
More set video from HBO’s “The Last of Us” TV series has emerged, this one offering a birds eye view of Pedro Pascal’s Joel, Anna Torv’s Tess and Bella Ramsey’s Ellie shooting a scene on set in Edmonton this week with the scenes likely standing in for post-pandemic Boston.

HBO Max’s DC Films
Revealed Saturday as part of the DC FanDome presentation, concept art from both of HBO Max’s planned live-action “Blue Beetle” and “Batgirl” films were shown. Both films are early in pre-production and so nothing much else is available and it’s not clear when either film will be out.
