Earlier today, Captain Kirk himself actor William Shatner finally got to go into actual space. The 90-year-old “Star Trek” star was one of four who went up for a trip in the Blue Origin rocket.

The ten-minute journey took Shatner and the three other passengers over 65 miles above the Earth’s surface – just far enough to see space and experience temporary weightlessness.

Shatner was emotional after the flight, speaking to reporters on the scene in a clip you can see below. He later reportedly told Amazon’s Jeff Bezos: “I hope I never recover from this. I hope I can retain what I feel now. I don’t want to lose it.”
