“The Sopranos” creator David Chase has signed a five-year, first-look deal with WarnerMedia.
The news comes right as the Chase-directed “Sopranos” prequel film “The Many Saints of Newark” arrives both in cinemas and on HBO Max.
Under his new deal, Chase will develop content for HBO, HBO Max, and the Warner Bros. Pictures Group.
There are no plans for a “Sopranos” spin-off at present, though Chase has indicated he’s open to more projects set in that ‘universe’.
