“Moonlight” and “Judas and the Black Messiah” alum Ashton Sanders is set to play rapper Bobby Brown in the Whitney Houston biopic “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” for Black Label Media, Compelling Pictures and Primary Wave Music.
Naomi Ackie is set to play Houston in the Kasi Lemmons-directed film penned by Anthony McCarten. Sony and TriStar Pictures will release the film on December 23rd 2022. [Source: Deadline]

Tom Hopper and Kat Graham are set to star in Mark Steven Johnson’s “Love in the Villa” in Netflix. Production will start this month in Verona ahead of a 2022 release.

New character posters for Andy Serkis’ “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” have arrived, the one-sheets teasing the return of Michelle Williams’ She-Venom along with new looks at the three other main characters played by Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson and Naomie Harris. The film launches on October 1st.
