Little Voice
Apple has opted not to renew the half-hour romantic dramedy “Little Voice” from J.J. Abrams and “Waitress” pair Sara Bareilles and Jessie Nelson.
A love letter to the diverse musicality of New York, the series explored the universal journey of finding your authentic voice in your early 20s. The show featured original music by Bareilles. [Source: Deadline]
Olga Dies Dreaming
Ramon Rodriguez (“Transformers,” “The Affair”) will star opposite Aubrey Plaza in Hulu’s drama pilot “Olga Dies Dreaming” based on Xochitl Gonzalez’s upcoming novel. Gonzalez will write the script, and Alfonso Gomez-Rejon will direct.
The series centers on a Nuyorican brother and sister who live in the gentrifying Brooklyn neighborhood of Sunset Park. They reckon with their absent, politically radical mother and their glittering careers among New York City’s elite in the wake of Hurricane Maria. [Source: THR]
The Last of Us
Filming for the new HBO television series “The Last of Us” is officially underway with new photos from the set in Calgary showing a transformation into a post-apocalyptic street akin to the early levels of north Boston in the game. The first season will consist of ten episodes and is expected to premiere in 2022.

Lucifer
Netflix has premiered the poster for the sixth and final season of its supernatural series “Lucifer” which premieres on the streamer on September 10th. Cancelled by Fox after three seasons, the series took on a second life on Netflix where it garnered three more seasons with this being the final run.
