A bunch of major movie sequels have officially kicked off filming.
James Wan has shared the first photo from the set of “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” the sequel to his 2018 live-action “Aquaman” movie which has begun its shoot in an icy location of some kind and will go by the production codename “Necrus” whilst shooting on location in the UK this time.
Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Temuera Morrison all return for the new entry and are joined by Pilou Asbaek in the project
“Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” opens December 16th 2022.

Next, filmmaker Rian Johnson has confirmed that shooting has begun on the “Knives Out” sequel with Daniel Craig reprising his role of sleuth Benoit Blanc in Greece this time for what will be a major Netflix release sometime in 2022.
A whole new ensemble will join him including the likes of Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Janelle Monae, Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr. and Jessica Henwick.

Finally, production on “John Wick: Chapter 4” has officially begun with the first photo from the set of the Keanu Reeves-led action franchise with the likes of Donnie Yen and Rina Sawayama also starring in the new outing. “John Wick: Chapter 4” opens May 27th 2022.
