20th Century Studios has premiered the third trailer for the Ryan Reynolds-led action-comedy “Free Guy,” this one coming eight months after the second and eighteen months since the first arrived.
The film follows a lonely bank teller who discovers he is actually a background character in an open-world video game. He works to prevent the makers of the game from shutting it down with the help of an avatar.
Jodie Comer, Lil Rel Howery, Taika Waititi, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Joe Keery co-star in the film which Shawn Levy helms from a script by Matt Lieberman. The film is currently slated to open August 13th.
