A new trailer has been released for “District 9” and “Elysium” writer-director Neill Blomkamp’s newest feature – a supernatural horror thriller shot secretly during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic last summer.
The feature revolves around a young woman who unleashes terrifying demons when supernatural forces at the root of a decades-old rift between mother and daughter are ruthlessly revealed.
Carly Pope, Chris William Martin, Nathalie Bolt, and Michael Rogers star in the film from the South African-Canadian auteur. “Demonic” is set to be released in theaters on August 20th and VOD on August 27th.
