NBC
NBC has ordered holiday special episodes for three of its biggest comedies – “Kenan,” “Young Rock” and “Mr. Mayor”. All three holiday specials will be standalone episodes not connected to any of their existing seasons.

Though a fairly common practice in the UK with shows like “Doctor Who,” it’s rarely seen in the United States where holiday-themed episodes usually air within a season run. [Source: NBC]

Pinnock plays John Ellis, founder of a city of outcasts known as New Babylon. Rapace will play Elizabeth, a powerful and merciless enemy of Ellis. Shooting is underway in Romania. [Source: Variety]
