As part of the celebration of ‘First Contact Day’, CBS has revealed an early teaser for the currently in production second season of “Star Trek: Picard”.
The teaser confirms the return of John DeLancie as the omnipotent superbeing Q, arguably the most famous villain of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” alongside The Borg.
A subsequent video interview with Stewart and DeLancie confirmed the latter’s return – his first live-action return to the role since the final season of “Star Trek: Voyager”.
“Star Trek: Picard” S2 will debut in 2022 on the Paramount+ service.
