Alright, Alright, Alright my constituents.
Speaking with The Balanced Voice podcast recently (via CNN), actor Matthew McConaughey says a run for the Texas governorship is a “true consideration” of his right now.
The “True Detective” and “Interstellar” actor’s home state is Texas and he says he is thinking about what he wants to do with the next chapter of his life: “I’m looking into [it] now again, what is my leadership role? Because I do think I have some things to teach and share, and what is my role? What’s my category in my next chapter of life that I’m going into?”
McConaughey released an unconventional memoir last year, making claims that drew the ire of some political commenters. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is up for re-election next year.
