Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar
The acclaimed comedy “Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar” starring Kristen Wiig, Annie Mumolo and Jamie Dornan will be switching over from PVOD rental to regular VOD rental and purchase from March 26th, whilst a DVD & Blu-ray release will be out on April 6th. Francis and The Godfather
Elle Fanning has been cast as “Love Story” actress Ali MacGraw in Barry Levinson’s “Francis and The Godfather” which chronicles the battles between producer Robert Evans (Jake Gyllenhaal) and director Francis Ford Coppola (“Oscar Isaac”) to make “The Godfather”.
At the time all this went down, MacGraw was married to Evans who was Paramount’s head of production. Elisabeth Moss also stars in the film as Eleanor Coppola. Andrew Farotte and Levinson penned the script. [Source: THR]
The Criterion Collection
Amazon Studios has announced plans to bring three of its current awards contenders to the Criterion Collection – Darius Marder’s “Sound of Metal,” Regina King’s “One Night in Miami” and Garrett Bradley’s “Time”. ‘Metal’ will arrive in 2022, the other two hit this year. [Source: Indiewire]
Godzilla vs. Kong
Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new featurette for Legendary Entertainment’s “Godzilla vs. Kong” ahead of its arrival on the HBO Max service on March 31st.
The video showcases the main cast and director Adam Wingard who discuss bringing the two franchises together and explains how the human characters fit into the puzzle.
