Following its premiere at Sundance and official selection title at Cannes and Toronto, the first trailer is out for Viggo Mortensen’s directorial debut “Falling”.
Mortensen also wrote and scored the film in which he plays a gay man who has a family with his partner. His father (Lance Henriksen) is homophobic and from a different generation, and his bigotry is exacerbated by the fact he has dementia.
Sverrir Gudnason and Laura Linney also star in the film by examining the dynamic of father/son relationships driven by generational and geographic divides.
“Falling” opens in cinemas and on-demand on February 5th.
