Hulu and Marvel Studios’ stop-motion adult animated comedy “M.O.D.O.K.” had a coming out party at New York Comic Con this weekend and now the entire 26-minute panel has gone online.
As you can see, plenty of footage from the series was shown off with Patton Oswalt as the titular MODOK who tries to keep his villainous organization, AIM, afloat through financial difficulties and family troubles – all with irreverent and R-rated jokes.
The teaser boasts a look and tone similar to “Robot Chicken,” but adds handheld camera usage which isn’t common in stop motion animation.
Oswalt also confirmed at the panel that Marvel is ‘very open’ to letting them use all kinds of characters and ideas from across the entire Marvel universe (including from the X-Men comics) for the series.
“M.O.D.O.K.” presently does not have an air date.
