Paramount Pictures UK has released the first trailer for the Olivia Cooke and Alec Baldwin-led comedy thriller “Pixie”. Cooke plays a woman who wants to avenge her mother’s death by masterminding a heist.
Her plans go awry and she finds herself on the run across the wild Irish countryside with two young men (Ben Hardy, Daryl McCormack) who are way out of their depth and being chased by a psychotic hitman (AlecBaldwin) and a gang of gun-toting priests. Colm Meaney co-stars.
Netflix has released the full trailer for “Emily in Paris,” Emmy-winning creator Darren Star’s upcoming romantic comedy series starring Lily Collins as a Chicago marketing executive dealing with unexpectedly landing her dream job in Paris and personal dramas that ensue whilst trying to prove herself. The series will be available for streaming on Friday, October 2nd.
Gravitas Ventures and Kamikaze Dogfight have unveiled the first trailer for “Final Destination” creator Jeffrey Reddick’s new horror feature “Don’t Look Back”. The story follows a woman (Kourtney Bell) overcoming a tragic past who is among several people who see a man being fatally assaulted.
When the witnesses start dying mysteriously, she must unearth if they’re being targeted by a killer or something more insidious. Bryan Batt, Will Stout, Skyler Hart and Jeremy Holm co-star in the film which hits cinemas and VOD on Friday, October 16th.
Sony Pictures has released the official trailer for the Richard Jenkins-led new comedy “The Last Shift” which arrives in cinemas next Friday. Jenkins plays an aging fast-food worker who plans to call it quits after 38 years on the graveyard shift.
His last weekend takes a turn while training his replacement, Jevon (Shane Paul McGhie), a talented but stalled young writer whose provocative politics keep landing him in trouble. A flicker of camaraderie sparks during the long overnight hours in a quiet kitchen.
“Martha Marcy May Marlene” helmer Sean Durkin returns after nine years with this drama/psychological thriller about a married couple that leave their comfortable 1980s suburban American life to move into an estate in England. However, once the family begins to settle the relationship between husband and wife begins to unravel and secrets are revealed. The film hits cinemas this week and VOD on November 17th.
There’s also one for HBO Max’s new film “Charm City Kings” premiering on October 8th. Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Meek Mill, Teyonah Parris and Chino Braxton star in the story of a young kid in Baltimore who idolizes the Midnight Clique, a group of people that ride their motorcycles around the city – a group he’ll do just about anything to join.
Finally there’s a trailer for Seth Larney’s sci-fi feature “2067” starring Kodi Smit-McPhee stars as Ethan Whyte, an underground tunnel worker who gets a message from the future that he’s needed. With the world reliant on artificial oxygen, a mysterious illness is now affecting those who breathe it and Ethan must solve this riddle. Ryan Kwanten co-stars in the film which hits theaters and VOD on October 2nd.
