“Croods: A New Age” Moves Up A Month

In an age of frequent delays, Universal Pictures is surprisingly moving the domestic theatrical release of its prehistoric animated comedy “The Croods: A New Age” forward by a month.

Originally slated from December 23rd to November 25th for the Thanksgiving holiday. This currently has the project going head to head with Pixar’s new animated feature “Soul” though recently there’s talk that “Soul” could end up going to the Disney+ service.

It will also go up against the new James Bond film “No Time to Die,” the next major feature to open in cinemas should Disney delay “Black Widow”.

Nicolas Cage, Catherine Keener, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds reprise their roles for the “Croods” sequel
