The Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne-led Victorian fantasy series “Carnival Row” has wrapped a post-COVID shoot in the Czech Republic.
Amazon Studios and Legendary Television is the biggest spending production ever to shoot in the country and began production of its second season in November. In March, with just two weeks of shooting left, production was halted.
International shoots in the country were allowed to resume in early May, but U.S. productions like this were held back until agreements were in place between Hollywood studios and unions.
‘Row’ was one of the first global shows to get back on its feet and complete filming. It’s not clear when the new season will be released on the streaming giant.
The show’s leading lady, Delevingne, has also signed on to host a high-end six-part documentary series which Hulu and BBC Three are set to co-produce. The series, currently going by the title “Planet Sex,” explores issues of human sexuality, gender identity, relationships, sex appeal and the popularity of pornography.
