“Control,” which scored some ‘Game of the Year’ honors last year, is getting a new ‘Ultimate Edition’ coming to almost all platforms. It is set for release on August 27th on Steam and for PS4, Xbox One and Epic Games in digital form on September 10th.
This edition includes the main game, the two expansion packs (“The Foundation,” “AWE”), an Expeditions end game mode, a photo mode and all content updates since the release of the original.
The title is also coming to next-gen consoles upon their release. One issue is those who already own “Control” on PS4 or Xbox One X won’t be getting a free next-gen upgrade for the next generation of consoles – you’ll have to buy the Ultimate Edition all over again for that.
