Michelle Gomez (“Doctor Who,” “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) has been cast as a series regular in HBO Max’s Kaley Cuoco-led dark comedic thriller series “The Flight Attendant”.
Cuoco plays a flight attendant who wakes up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man – and no idea what happened.
Gomez plays Miranda, a hardened, savvy businesswoman with anger-management issues who Cassie meets in Bangkok. She replaces Sonoya Mizuno who was initially cast until the character was retooled and Gomez set to replace her.
Michiel Huisman, Colin Woodell, Zosia Mamet, Merle Dandridge and Griffin Matthews also star in the series which is aiming to resume production in the next few weeks.
