The first promo has been released for “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the “E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial” and “Charlie’s Angels” star’s new one-hour syndicated daytime talk show.
Combining Barrymore’s 1982 appearance on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” spliced with current day Barrymore at the desk, the promo is as perky and chipper about life as you’d expect.
Barrymore is coming off three seasons of Netflix dark comedy cult fave “Santa Clarita Diet” and will kick off her show on September 14th. Barrymore, Chris Miller, Ember Truesdell and Jason Kurtz serve as executive producers on the CBS Television production.
