Aladdin
Marwan Kenzari says he’s ready to take on the role of the villain Jafar again should Disney proceed with a sequel to its live-action “Aladdin” film. Out doing promotional rounds for “The Old Guard,” he tells ComicBook.com that: “I would be humbly grateful to do a second one. It’s up to the big bosses and I’m all ready.”

Infinity Train
The third season of animated anthology series “Infinity Train” will premiere exclusively on HBO Max. The series, which originated on Cartoon Network, is set on a mysterious train with an endless number of cars, each one its own universe. The first two seasons are also on HBO Max with the third coming sometime this Summer. [Source: HBO Max]

The Immortal Story
A short story titled “The Immortal Story” from Danish writer Karen Blixen (“Out of Africa,” “Babette’s Feast”) will be adapted by Daniel Rosenfeld and Lucía Puenzo into a feature. Nahuel Perez Biscayart (“BPM”) and Leonardo Sbaraglia (“Pain and Glory”) have signed letters of intent to head up the cast of the work which will shift the location to Patagonia.

The original story is set in the late 19th century in what is now Guangzhou, a wealthy merchant named Mr. Clay desires to turn an apocryphal tale he’d once heard into reality – a tale of a rich man who paid a sailor to go to bed with his wife and conceive an heir. He soon enlists the help of a sailor and the daughter of his former business partner whom he drove to suicide. [Source: Variety]

Wizards
Netflix has set an August 7th premiere date for “Wizards,” the final season of Guillermo del Toro’s animated “Tales of Arcadia” saga. The story follows a wizard-in-training Douxie (Colin O’Donoghue) and other heroes of Arcadia on time travel adventure that takes them to the medieval realm of Camelot. It follows on from previous series “TrollHunters” and “3Below.”

Returning cast members from previous installments include Emile Hirsch, Lexi Medrano, Charlie Saxton, Steven Yeun, David Bradley, Lena Headey, Fred Tatasciore, Clancy Brown, Diego Luna, Mark Hamill, and Kelsey Grammer. Joining the cast are Alfred Molina, Stephanie Beatriz, James Faulkner, and John Rhys Davies. [Source: Variety]
