On the weekend, filmmaker Zack Snyder responded to numerous questions on social media platform Vero regarding the upcoming release of his cut of “Justice League” for the HBO Max streaming service.
He offered several interesting answers. First up, they are already deep in VFX work on the film which will see the return of the original Steppenwolf design, along with Kevin Costner as Jonathon Kent for a brief cameo.
There will also be more Knightmare sequences involving Darkseid and Superman, and composer Junkie XL will return to score the film. Asked about a Green Lantern appearance, he only offered a ‘wink emoji’.
The big news though is that we will likely get a new teaser trailer before the upcoming DC FanDome event on August 22nd. In addition, he calls the upcoming release “100% his vision with absolutely no compromises”.
“Zack Snyder’s Justice League” will reportedly cost around $20-30 million in order to properly finish.
