The first trailer is out for “Another Round,” a new high-concept dramedy from director Thomas Vinterberg and actor Mads Mikkelsen following their successful collaboration on 2012’s “The Hunt”.
An Official Selection of this year’s Cannes Film Festival, the story begins with a group of friends that decide to hold an experiment – they want to see if maintaining a certain level of alcohol intoxication can benefit their daily lives.
At first it seems to succeed, they’re more confident and affable. Soon though, excess begins to creep in and the group starts to fall apart due to their dependence on the booze.
Thomas Bo Larsen, Lars Ranthe, and Magnus Millang co-star in the film which hasn’t yet set a release date.
