Iron Man VR
After multiple delays, “Marvel’s Iron Man VR” virtual reality game is set to hit Sony’s PlayStation VR headsets on July 3rd.

The first-person game sees players as Tony Stark who is attacked by mysterious hacker and anti-corporate activist Ghost repurposing an old Stark Industries weapons. Players jet around the world on a mission to save it, and encounter various villains in the process. [Source: SIE]

Clouds
Disney+ has announced they have acquired the Justin Baldoni-directed inspirational feature “Clouds” which will premiere exclusively on the streaming service this fall. The film recently completed production in Montreal and is based on Laura Sobiech’s memoir “Fly a Little Higher”.

Clouds is the true story of Zach Sobiech, a musically gifted 17-year old living with a rare bone cancer (osteosarcoma). The film follows Zach’s journey over the course of his senior year as he navigates the complexities of love, friendship, family, and leaving behind a musical legacy. Fin Argus, Sabrina Carpenter, Madison Iseman, Thomas Everett Scott and Neve Campbell star. [Source: Disney+]

The Nest
IFC Films has set a September 18th release for “The Nest,” the Jude Law and Carrie Coon-led dark drama about a family’s disastrous decision to relocate to England in the 1980s where isolation and mounting financial issues began to take a toll. Blossoms
Celebrated filmmaker Wong Kar-Wai’s new film “Blossoms” is set to start shooting in mainland China’s Hengdian World Studios from July. The production has rented space at the studio in coastal Zhejiang province from May to March 2021. The project marks Wong’s first film since “The Grandmaster” and follows a young man looking for status and romance in the boom years of 1990s China. [Source: Variety]

Rainbowfish
Warner Bros. Pictures and MACRO have picked up Neil Paik’s sci-fi short story “Rainbowfish: A Scumbag’s Guide to Stealing Water, Traversing Wormholes and Breaking Every Rule”. The story is set in a borderless future when the oceans have all but disappeared and the elusive Global Police enforces tyrannical laws. Their lives and that of a young water scavenger and a rebellious orphan collide in the most unexpected way. Paik will adapt his short story for the screen. [Source: Deadline]
