Shyamalan’s New Film Sets Wolff & More

Alex Wolff (“Hereditary”), Eliza Scanlen (“Little Women”), Thomasin McKenzie (“True History of the Kelly Gang”), Aaron Pierce (“Krypton”) and Vicky Krieps (“Phantom Thread”) have scored key roles in M. Night Shyamalan’s new secret project.

The currently untitled project has begun casting and is said to be the first of two new thrillers set up at Universal Pictures. Wolff’s role will reportedly be the third lead for the film, but plot specifics are under wraps.

Shyamalan’s films have amassed more than $3.3 billion worldwide with “Glass” being the most recent. His most recent three films – “Glass,” “Split” and “The Visit” – he independently financed for a combined production budget of just $35 million. However the films went on to cumulatively gross more than $600 million worldwide.

He will similarly finance these next two films.
