Actor Pierce Brosnan will reportedly be participating in a watchalong of the classic 1995 James Bond movie “GoldenEye” on social media. The watchalong will be hosted on the Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube feeds for Esquire UK on Sunday, April 19th starting at 7pm BST. Brosnan will be fielding questions from James Bond fans. Actress Rosario Dawson says her dream is to be involved in the two big sci-fi universes – “Star Trek” and “Star Wars,” saying “I get in those two, I’m telling you, man, that’s it. I will just retire.” In terms of ‘Trek’, Dawson says she would be happy to be a background Romulan or Vulcan, but adds her father gave her the idea of playing a member of the Q continuum which would allow her to jump between “Star Trek: Discovery,” “Star Trek: Picard” and more. Never Have I Ever
Netflix ha released the first trailer for “Never Have I Ever,” the new Mindy Kaling-created comedy series starring newcomer Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and launching April 27th. Ramakrishnan plays Devi, a first-generation Indian-American immigrant who’s trying to succeed in high school and have a normal American teenage experience.
Accompanied by her best friends, the raucously temperamented Ramona Young and type-A overachiever Lee Rodriguez, she has a mission: Get laid. The three have all kinds of plans, get into all kinds of shenanigans, and bump against their traditionally minded parents.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Netflix has announced a May 12th premiere date for “Kimmy vs The Reverend,” the upcoming interactive “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” special which will offer story choice threads much like “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch”.
In the episode, Kimmy Schmidt (Ellie Kemper) sets off on her biggest adventure yet. Three states! Explosions! A dancing hamburger! And you, the viewer, get to decide how the story goes. Jon Hamm stars as the villain The Reverend, whilst the likes of Daniel Radcliffe, Johnny Knoxville and a whole bunch of “30 Rock” alums guest star.
