Amazon Studios has won a bidding war for the screen rights to the ten-part mystery-sci-fi podcast “The Left Right Game” from QCode. Tessa Thompson, who led the voice cast on the podcast alongside Aml Ameen and W. Early Brown, will produce.
The “Thor: Ragnarok” and “Westworld” actress stars in the audio drama as an idealistic journalist who tries to make a name for herself by following a group of paranormal explorers, obsessed with a seemingly harmless pastime known as the Left/Right Game.
The journey takes her into a supernatural world that she and the other members of the expedition cannot handle. Or survive.
Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger, Justin Levy, Rob Herting and David Henning executive produce while Jack Anderson will adapt the series and also serve as an executive producer.
