Trailer: Peacock’s “Brave New World” Series

NBCUniversal’s Peacock kicks off today on Xfinity X1 and Flex ahead of a nationwide rollout on July 15th. One of the first series on the slate though is an adaptation of Aldous Huxley’s iconic 1932 novel “Brave New World”.

The story imagines a utopian society that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family and history.

Alden Ehrenreich plays John the Savage, a young man raised outside the confines of the New World whose presence threatens to disrupt the rigid social order of the utopian New London.

Jessica Brown Findlay, Harry Lloyd, Kylie Bunbury, Hannah John-Kamen, Sen Mitsuji, Joseph Morgan and Nina Sosanya star while Demi Moore will have a recurring role as John’s brash and hard-living mother Linda.

David Wiener (“Homecoming”) serves as writer and showrunner on the Universal Content Productions and Amblin Television series. Grant Morrison, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey and Brian Taylor executive produce while Owen Harris helmed the first two episodes.
