Misbehavior
Pathe has brought forward the online release of Keira Knightley and Gugu Mbatha-Raw led Miss World film “Misbehaviour” by three months after its theatrical play was cut short by the coronavirus shutdowns. The movie was rolled out in the UK on March 13th and will now be available across digital platforms from April 15th. The Roads Not Taken
Following a short-lived limited three weeks ago, the Sally Potter-directed “The Roads Not Taken” will now be part of Bleecker Street’s new virtual streaming program with exhibition which commences April 10th. For the price of $12 for a three-day viewing window, audiences can log on to their local exhibitor’s website to watch the film. The revenue from the movie will be split between Bleecker and exhibition partners. [Source: Deadline]
Trolls World Tour
The official music video for “Trolls World Tour” official song “Don’t Slack” by Anderson Paak and Justin Timberlake has been released. Anna Kendrick, who co-stars with Timberlake in the film, also appears in the clip. “Trolls World Tour” will debut digitally on April 10th.
The film will continue to follow Queen Poppy and Branch as they go on an adventure that will take them well beyond what they’ve known before, Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) discover that they are but one of six different Troll tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger and a whole lot louder.
LEGO DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters
Warner Bros. Entertainment has released the full trailer for “LEGO DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters” which arrives on Digital HD on April 28th ahead of a disc release on June 16th.
In the film, 10-year-old Billy Batson shouts a single word and, with lightning bolts flashing, he transforms into Shazam (Sean Astin), a full-fledged adult Super Hero. It doesn’t take long for Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and the rest of the Justice League to take notice and invite the earnest do-gooder to join the team.
But to become a member, Billy must reveal his true identity. While fighting off the evil Mr. Mind and Black Adam, Billy learns that he must trust others – and that nothing creates trust like helping those in need.
