“Better Call Saul” actor Michael Mando, who played Mac Gargan in “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” has teased a possible return to the role of the man who becomes the Spider-Man villain Scorpion.
Mando’s transformation into Scorpion popped up in a post-credits scene in ‘Homecoming’ but there was no sign of him in “Spider-Man: Far from Home”. That said with “Morbius” reshoots having just taken place, “Venom” wrapping up and “Spider-Man 3” to shoot this Summer, there are multiple opportunities for him to reprise the role.
That makes his tweet yesterday of a photo of himself with a scorpion caption interesting. Earlier in the week, Mando told Steve Varley that “there is a chance, there’s always a chance” for him to return to the role.
Michael Keaton will reprise his role of villain Adrian Toomes/Vulture in “Morbius” opening this Summer with both it and the “Venom” sequel really setting the stage for Sony’s own little MCU.
