King Richard
Dylan McDermott is set to join Will Smith, Liev Schreiber, Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton in the true-life biopic “King Richard” at Warner Bros. Pictures. McDermott will play a sports agent in the film which is currently shooting in Los Angeles.

Reinaldo Marcus Green helms the film which was scripted by Zach Baylin and depicts the determination and fortitude of Richard Williams, a man who trained his two daughters Venus and Serena to play tennis – ultimately coaching them into two of the greatest players in the history of the sport. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
“Casino Royale” star Eva Green has been a fan favorite choice for a gender-swapped version of the villain Nightmare for Sam Raimi’s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”. Asked about the possibility and rumors of her casting, she shot them down point blank: “Me? No! Not that I know of. Not at all. I like the humour in them. I saw the trailer for Black Widow. Violent Night
Universal Pictures has acquired “Sonic The Hedgehog” writers Pat Casey and Josh Miller’s elevated thriller script “Violent Night”. The story is set against the Christmas holiday backdrop, but plot details are under wraps. Kelly McCormick, David Leitch and Annie Marter will produce. [Source: Deadline]

Kingdom Come
Netflix has acquired “Skyscraper” and “Red Notice” director Rawson Marshall Thurber’s heist thriller “Kingdom Come” which is based on a pitch by himself and Kyle Ward (“Machete Kills”). Thurber is penning and directing the project which is said to be on the same scale as those aforementioned films (ie. big budgets). Thurber and Beau Bauman will produce. [Source: Deadline]
