While the new Bond film “No Time to Die” has been delayed, Disney remains committed to releasing their Marvel Studios title “Black Widow” as planned.
Today, Box Office Pro has revealed the first long-range tracking figures for the film which suggests a domestic opening in the $90-130 million range.
That’s a more sizeable debut than expected, largely due to both the nearly year-long absence of Marvel series along with the film being the first major tentpole to hit after “Mulan” a full five weeks earlier.
‘Widow’ is one of only two Marvel films this year, the other being “Eternals” in November which actor Kumail Nanjiani earlier this week indicated to Deadline that its visual effects are heavily practical and will feature a full Bollywood dance number with his character.
