Liam Neeson is set to lead the action crime thriller “Memory” which will be helmed by “Casino Royale” and “The Mask of Zorro” director Martin Campbell.
The “Taken” star plays an expert assassin who himself becomes a target when he refuses to complete a job for a dangerous criminal organization.
The FBI is also on his tail, forcing the assassin to call on his exceptional skills to stay one step ahead. Dario Scardapane (“The Punisher” series) penned the script based on the Dutch feature “The Memory of a Killer”.
Neeson recently had success with “Cold Pursuit,” another recent remake of a Scandinavian feature. Filming on “Memory” begins in August and STX International is selling the film at Berlin this week.
