While Katherine Langford may have been scratched from “Avengers: Endgame,” the “13 Reasons Why” actress is still moving forward and today a first photo of her in Netflix’s new series “Cursed” has arrived.
The series is based on the upcoming graphic novel from Tom Wheeler and Frank Miller that focuses on a young girl with a mysterious power who is destined to become the tragic Lady of the Lake from Arthurian legend.
After her mother’s death, Nimue (Langford) finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a young mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther.
The series is set to premiere sometime next year.
