The first poster and Korean trailer have arrived for “Snowpiercer,” “Okja” and “The Host” director Bong Joon-ho’s new thriller “Parasite” which opens in South Korea on June 15th.
The story follows two families from different classes and worlds apart. A young man from the poorer and unemployed family becomes obsessed with the other, then something sinister happens and things spiral out of control.
Song Kang-Ho, Lee Sun-Kyun, Cho Yeo-Jeong, Choi Woo-Shik, and Park So-Dam co-star. NEON has acquired U.S. rights but hasn’t set a date as yet. The film will likely have its world premiere at Cannes in May.
