Following a first welcome the other week, Dwayne Johnson has now released a new video from the set of Disney Pictures’ “Jungle Cruise” – the currently in production film based on the popular theme park ride.
Johnson plays a boat captain who takes his sister (Emily Blunt) and her brother (Jack Whitehall) on a mission to find a tree believed to possess healing powers. Wild animals and a competing expedition figure into the proceedings.
Edgar Ramirez and Jesse Plemons are the villains leading a competing German expedition. Paul Giamatti also stars in the film which J.D. Payne, Patrick McKay and Michael Green recently penned. Filming began in May and will run through the Summer.
